Coming home ... and THANKS everyone !!!

I'm coming home!!!
Can't believe it's been 7 weeks!!!

Yesterday, I read again all my entries here.
Remember back the first time we arrived here,
~ our first snow
~ my cooking :goreng pisang, cengkodok pisang, nasi lemak without lemak, nasi pattaya
~ our first chicago city trip
~ my first time wearing a dress after a long time
~ our first fireplace
~ our first fire alarm
It's been an adventure of a lifetime for me.

At first, it's been hard for me.
Bcuz this is my first time to be away from my family and friends.

But THANKS to everyone who've been reading this blog.
Bcuz somehow it does make me feel better.

1. My family ... thanks dad for buying the webcam, just so we can keep in touch better for the first few weeks. (just until my laptop rosak). And thanks mom for preparing rendang ayam on the day I'm coming home. To my sisters, thanks for updating me with the current entertainment news (especially Edison's news :D )

2. My officemate ... thanks to Azlina who hebohkan my blog link. And thanks to Nizam, Hafiz and others who've been emailing with me almost everyday, updating me about badminton and futsal game. Also, thanks to my Gossip reporters for telling me the updated office gossips ... hehe.

3. My friends ... the obvious one I knew who've been checking this blog is shan and azean. But others who I didn't know ... thanks!! And also, Itam ... thanks for all your good advice and support. \(^_^)/

4. Others ... I think Seema's family and boyfriend also have been checking this blog. Sorry, if most of it is about me ... hehe. I really tried to insert Seema's picz once in a while.
And also I think my sister's friends also have been checking this blog, ever since I wrote "there is a whole row of Playboy magazine here" in one of my first entries. Soo.. thanks :D

Special thanks to those who've been entering comments in my entry.
Especially Irfan ... with all those funny and ridiculous comment...hehe.
Also to others, Azlina, Ellie, Hui Ling, Lai, Charles, Shan, Safiyah, Nazib, my sisters, and my beloved nephew and niece, Elina and Aiman. And also to others who I forgot to mention ... ARIGATO !!!

Lastly, to those who've been chatting with me almost every nite during my stay here.
You managed to make me happy and put a smile on my face, during my loneliness and boring nite here.

Hmmm... dah mcm Thank You speech in Academy Awards pulak. Hehhe.
Just wanna express my gratitude to everyone, because I really appreciate it. :D

I have 12 hours transit in Amsterdam ... so... hehe.. we'll see.

Our farewell lunch ...

Thanks to Izabel who is kind enough to organize this.

We're so touched.
Sooo many people come and join us.

There are actually two separate teams, Federal and State.
But we're close to both teams, so EVERYONE join us for lunch today.

Dunno if they really do like us, or they just really happy that we're leaving now ... hehe...
But they all are really a GREAATTT bunch of people, and we'll be missing them a lot !!!

Feels like a little kid again ...
Errmm...We played the normal snow game
(We learned all this from tv ... so I guess nothing much :D )

It is really a nice scenery ... beautiful !!!
Once in a lifetime experience.
And for me, once is enough. I'm ready to go back to my nice and warm weather :D

Bowling last Sunday ... and I had a good game !!!

It feels soo good to play bowling.
Remind me of the old good day during my study time in U.

And I had a good game too.
Get a looot of strike and spare... hehe



And the BEST thing happened!!!
I got a split, and I managed to drop both pin !!!
On my first throw, 8 of the pin falls, and what's left is pin 7 and 6.
(Please refer to the attached below :D)



And on my second throw, I target to pin number 6, and somehow that pin goes to pin number 7 !!!
First time in my life ... I got a split !!!
If only get it on tape ...

It was a really good day :D

One week ago ... and one week to go !!!

Thanks to Elaine who let me borrow the office laptop for the weekend.
(Hope can keep it for the rest of the week here...uhuhu)

Last week, on Saturday we went to the Planetarium and Aquarium.
Planetarium was okay...but I love the Aquarium !!!
They have a looot of fishes, lizards and other animals.

Here, the main attraction ... King Komodo.
And it is sleeping ... Zzzzz


And also, we get to watch the dolphin's show.
It is soo cute.

Just one week left ... yippee !!!

Laptop still down ... and V-day

First, Happy Birthday to Mak and Kati ... on Feb,13th.
Too bad, my laptop is down. Couldn't wish my mom Happy birthday online :(

2nd, my laptop is down.
I managed to solve my firewall problem, thanks to Fendy.
But still having trouble detecting wireless, and one of the people here try to take a look. And "BERLAGAK PANDAI NAK MAMPUSSS!!" ... kalo tatau, janganlah buat apa2.
And wanna know what he actually did? He UNINSTALL my wireless network adapter DRIVER !!!

Now, I can't even check the settings, because my laptop cannot even detect the wireless device inside. What a @#@&^$@%$$#&^$@#^% !!!

And it's Valentine Day.
They bring a lot of cookies, chocs, brownies, etc.
And they even give me and Seema V cards, and a lot of chocs and sweets.




THANKSS !!! Feels so warm, yet it's winter :D

Sad story ... virus attack my laptop :(

Uhuhuhu ...

I think it's the virus.
I did a scan virus last Saturday, and after I move one virus to the quarantine, my laptop can't detect any wifi nearby.

Maybe it effect the firewall, bcuz when I tried to open the firewall settings, it give me this error message, "Due to an udentified problem, can't display the Window Firewall Setings". &@#%$$&^%@#

Anyone can gimme any advice on how to fix this?

I tried few options:

1. System Restore - but it seems I don't have have any restore point. (Demmit, never bothered about that thing ever since I got my laptop)

2. Command prompt - I tried to reset the firewall settings from the command prompt, but it give me "Service is not included" (Again ... &@!@$##%#!@)

I sms my friend, a computer genius, but .... nope ... nothing.
At the end, I finish using all my handphone credit. (Another ... @#&%$@#%^#@&^$@#)

So, no internet ... and minimum credit on my handphone (Eirna, thanks to reload my prepaid ... although, more amount would be better :D ) ... can't wait to go home!!!

And, now I can say this magic word, "NEXT WEEK, I'm coming home !!!"

p.s: Was thinking to upload more cool picz from Aquarium we went last Saturday, but ... hmm, let's all pray I get my laptop fix in near future ... uhuhuhu...

Bad SNOWSTORM ... schools and offices are closed

A loott of snow and strong wind !!!
It is really bad, everything are closed and people just stay inside.
From the news, it is considered as one of the worst snowstorm since 1999.

Just look at how many inches of snow we got until today's evening. (Based on my footstep picz below) :D
I think it's about 14 inches of snow ...



But we got to go home early, which is not a bad thing :D

Rombongan ke Museum Science and Industry

ROMBONGAN BERSAMA CIK EZA KE MUZIUM ...



The museum covered everything about Science and Industry, exactly as what it is called. :D
They have an exhibition about transportation, petroleum, planets, movies, etc.
And they have a lot of interactive thing that visitor's can play around, so, it's kinda fun. Feels like budak sekolah again.. hehe

They have this studio set, and we were asked to join... ermm.. something like Oprah Talk Show.
They have applause and clap button, so it seems like it was a real studio set.
It's kinda fun !!!

No .. i dun wanna put all the tradition phone picz ... but the pic below is really cool.


"Whisper" - if I whisper to that weird thing, the other person who also stand in front of the weird thing, at the opposite side of the room, will hear what I'm whispering, clearly ...

Petroleum section

I just loovee this picture.
I think inside the color thingy is petroleum... ermm.. it should be.. hehe...

Overall, it was a really ... ermm ... an educational day for me :D

They just dance all night long.
They pulled me to the dance floor.
Whole my life I never realised this, but I am a really bad dancer. Hehe. It seems like I was walking with my right hand and leg moving at the same time.
It's really that bad, so I just giveup.

And at the end of the nite, Seema get an admirer. Or maybe you can call it a stalker.
He's been trying to get close to Seema.
If Seema's boyfriend is reading this ... I managed to take the guys picz, if you wanna punch his face ... hehe


And it is the end of the nite.
The party is over.
And how does a bunch of drunk girls (except me) taking their last picture together?


It was a reallllyy great night, after all.
And 3 weeks left for me to go home ... YIPPPEE !!!

Can't believe I cook this ... hehe

Nothing much happened during weekdays except work.
And again ... because of all the boring nite ... I managed to improve my cooking skill :D

Menu for tonite is "Fried tilapia fish and shrimps with chilli and tomato sauce Thai style"



Hehe... yeah.. I know.. I'm bored to death.

Besides that, it's been snowing like crazy lately.
Today, we got snow about 8 inches ... fuuhh...
